5. Selling Domains
1. Can I advertise my domains for sale?
Sure. All domains marked as being for sale are entered into our catalogue of available domain names. You can place a buy it now price against your domain or leave it open for “offers”.
2. Will my domains be advertised even if i dont park them on your platform?
Yes. Unless you delete your domain/s from our system, if you’ve marked them for sale, they will continue to be advertised.
3. Will you manage / broker the offers / sales?
We don’t currently provide a traditional ‘escrow’ service. However, unlike other sales platforms, we don’t keep the prospective buyer a secret from you. Simply put, we hook you up together by email and allow you to negotiate directly should you wish to. You want our help? No problem. All negotiations can take place through our platform and we will forward any offer, counter offer and agreement to all parties.
4. What’s this ‘reverse escrow’ service I’ve heard about?
We do not get involved in the transferral of funds between buyer and seller, although we do provide a unique ‘reverse escrow’ service. We hold the domain on behalf of the seller and only release the name to the buyer when the seller confirms that the cleared funds have been received. The cost of our reverse escrow service is 5% of the domain sales price. Any disputes will be overseen by the DNOA (the Domain Name Owners Association).
5. I’ve heard you have namemart.com in development, what’s that?
This is true. Namemart will be a more comprehensive domain trading platform which will be seamlessly linked from iMODO. Here we intend to broker, market and sell domain names, providing a comprehensive service for buyers and sellers alike. We also intend to hold regular live auctions and TLD specific promotions.
