6. Making Money

6.1. How much money will I be able to make?

This all depends on the number and quality of domains that you own. The opportunities are unlimited. Domains with existing traffic usually generate the most revenue. One of our personal account managers will be happy to assist you in optimizing your parked domains so that you can create the most revenue possible.

6.2. Whats PPC and PPA?

PPC means pay per click. This means you are paid a percentage of the advertising revenue for each click made from your site. PPA means pay per action. This means you are paid a bounty if your visitor makes a stipulated action on a site you referred them to.

6.3. When will I get paid?

Currently we pay our partners on a net 45 day basis once the minimum payout threshold has been met. Monthly thereafter.

6.4. How will I get paid?

iMODO.com offers several payment options - direct deposit, PayPal, check or wire transfer.

6.5. What is the minimum payout?

The minimum payout is $25. ($1000 for checks and wire transfers)

6.6. Are there any fees with these payouts?

No. We do not charge you any fees for payouts.

6.7 Do you have rules governing driven traffic and promotion of my sites?

Yes, of course. The rules governing what traffic we accept clicking your ads (in particular) and which we dont are complex and a continuous moving feast. The basic rule of thumb is that we do not accept traffic incoming to your sites which has been motivated in doing so. This includes but is not limited to forum referrals, text links from other domains, directory listings and/or any referral which is not from either a major search engine or a very well known site or referrer.

We do currently allow affiliates to promote their sites with paid listings at the major search engines. However, if you are in any doubt as to what is or isn’t acceptable then please drop us a line for clarification. We will not however respond to questions about specific referrals where the referring site is not known by us.

6.8 Monetizing through our “legacy” templates

For all domains and accounts that don’t meet either our criteria or our upstream providers criteria for monetization, you may still use our self serve ad platform called our “legacy” platform. With legacy you simply place your 3rd party banner code of choice on your pages. This can be from any provider that gives you an exportable code. We cannot and do not give any assurance that the code you display from an external provider meets with their terms of service and we will not be held liable in any regard for any loss or damage suffered as a result of us displaying ads, or in connection with the service we provide, which breaches anothers terms. You are completely responsible in this regard and you should obtain assurety from your provider before you place any 3rd party code on our website.
